Commission staff recently prepared the third edition of a report comparing the four-county Milwaukee Metro Area to its peers. The report assesses how the Milwaukee Metro Area compares with 28 metro areas from across the country on several key measures, including population growth and characteristics, the economy, and transportation.
The Commission is currently assisting in a study exploring the possibility of establishing passenger rail service in the corridor between Kenosha, Racine, and Milwaukee. Visit the study webpage to learn more.
The Commission recently completed its 2020 land use inventory for the entire seven-county Southeastern Wisconsin Region. This information is available in a mapping format on the Commission’s Interactive Mapping Application and can be obtained in GIS and tabular formats by contacting Commission staff.
